Overview
Parker 46 Series hose fittings are no-skive Parkrimp™ crimp fittings: the hose is crimped straight onto the fitting without stripping the cover, using Parker Parkrimp crimpers and die sets. Each series is matched to specific Parker hose constructions — the approved hose and fitting combinations are listed in Catalogue 4400 — and is available in a full range of end configurations and sizes. ORFS (O-ring face seal, ISO 8434-3 / SAE J1453) ends seal on an elastomer O-ring held in a flat face, giving a leak-free, vibration-resistant connection.
The 1JD46-6-6 is a Parker 46 Series Hose Fitting with a male ORFS bulkhead with locknut O-ring end (3/8" (-6)) for size -6 hose, in steel. Crimped onto the matching Parker hose with Parkrimp equipment (see the hose/fitting table in Catalogue 4400).
Rated for maximum working pressure 635 bar — the assembly is rated by the lower of hose and fitting.
