Overview
Parker 47 Series hose fittings are no-skive Parkrimp™ crimp fittings: the hose is crimped straight onto the fitting without stripping the cover, using Parker Parkrimp crimpers and die sets. Each series is matched to specific Parker hose constructions — the approved hose and fitting combinations are listed in Catalogue 4400 — and is available in a full range of end configurations and sizes.
The K1747-40-40 is a Parker 47 Series Hose Nipple with a SAE Code 61 flange head (SFL) end (2 1/2" flange), 45° elbow, for size -40 hose, in steel. Supplied as the nipple only, without the crimp shell.
Rated for maximum working pressure 175 bar — the assembly is rated by the lower of hose and fitting. Suitable for hydraulic fluids on mineral-oil basis, coolants (water-glycol), lubricants (oils), air and water.
Typical applications include medium pressure hydraulics, across the industrial manufacturing equipment, off-road machinery and transportation industries.
