Overview
Parker 48 Series hose fittings are no-skive Parkrimp™ crimp fittings: the hose is crimped straight onto the fitting without stripping the cover, using Parker Parkrimp crimpers and die sets. Each series is matched to specific Parker hose constructions — the approved hose and fitting combinations are listed in Catalogue 4400 — and is available in a full range of end configurations and sizes.
The 10048-48 is a Parker 48 Series crimp shell (ferrule) for size -48 hose, in steel. It is the outer sleeve crimped over the hose onto the 48 Series fitting stem.
Suitable for air, coolants (water-glycol), hydraulic fluids, mineral hydraulic oil and water.
