Overview
Parker 70 Series hose fittings are no-skive Parkrimp™ crimp fittings: the hose is crimped straight onto the fitting without stripping the cover, using Parker Parkrimp crimpers and die sets. Each series is matched to specific Parker hose constructions — the approved hose and fitting combinations are listed in Catalogue 4400 — and is available in a full range of end configurations and sizes. ORFS (O-ring face seal, ISO 8434-3 / SAE J1453) ends seal on an elastomer O-ring held in a flat face, giving a leak-free, vibration-resistant connection.
The 1JM70-16-12-SM is a Parker 70 Series Hose Fitting with a male ORFS rigid end (1" (-16)) for size -12 hose, in steel. Crimped onto the matching Parker hose with Parkrimp equipment (see the hose/fitting table in Catalogue 4400). Metric hex.
Rated for maximum working pressure 410 bar — the assembly is rated by the lower of hose and fitting. Suitable for air, air (general industrial air), coolants (glycol, water-glycol), hydraulic fluids on mineral-oil basis, lubricants, lubricants (oils), mineral hydraulic oil and others.
