Overview
The Enidine ECO Series is a range of non-adjustable, self-compensating hydraulic shock absorbers for controlled deceleration of moving loads. Each unit is a sealed, self-contained hydraulic assembly with a hardened steel body, integral coil return spring and a fixed damping constant selected by orifice number, so no on-site adjustment is required.
Enidine ECO 8 MF-3B (part number BM238393): M8 x 0.75 thread (metric fine thread), 6.4 mm stroke, up to 4 Nm per cycle, 6 215 Nm/h, maximum reaction force 890 N, maximum propelling force 200 N, mass 16 g. Damping constant -3: the orifice number sets the velocity range the unit is optimised for — select it from the ECO sizing curves by effective weight and impact velocity. Supplied with a steel cushion button (B suffix) on the piston rod. One hex jam nut is included with every shock absorber; flanges, stop collars, side-load adaptors and urethane striker caps are available as accessories.
