Overview
Parker 48 Series hose fittings are no-skive Parkrimp™ crimp fittings: the hose is crimped straight onto the fitting without stripping the cover, using Parker Parkrimp crimpers and die sets. Each series is matched to specific Parker hose constructions — the approved hose and fitting combinations are listed in Catalogue 4400 — and is available in a full range of end configurations and sizes.
The 13W48-10-6 is a Parker 48 Series Hose Fitting with a female JIC 37° / SAE 45° swivel (DKJ) end (5/8" (-10)), 90° elbow, for size -6 hose, in steel. Crimped onto the matching Parker hose with Parkrimp equipment (see the hose/fitting table in Catalogue 4400).
Rated for maximum working pressure 350 bar — the assembly is rated by the lower of hose and fitting. Suitable for air, coolants, hydraulic fluids, mineral hydraulic oil and water.
